We are looking for an enthusiastic Office Administrator to join our busy Education / Family Departments based at our Cardiff Office located at Cardiff Gate Business Park. 

Please note that no previous experience is needed as full training will be provided.

Required Skills:

  • You will need to have strong administration and communication skills.
  • A methodical approach to planning and organising your tasks to ensure they are carried out to an accurate and high standard. 
  • You will need to work independently and efficiently to support the Department’s administrative tasks.
  • Confidence in dealing with clients in a professional manner, both on the telephone and in person, is essential.  
  • Prioritising tasks/duties within expected given deadlines. 

Experience using a Case Management System if preferable, but not essential as training will be provided.

Driving Licence/own car essential due to commuting to our office based at Cardiff Gate Business Park. 

Key tasks include:

  • Dealing with enquiry telephone calls; taking details down of the enquiry and emailing them to the appropriate fee earner. 
  • Opening, closing and ongoing orderly maintenance of files in accordance with firm’s quality standards and Lexcel compliance.
  • Photocopying and Scanning documentation to assist the Legal Assistants and Fee Earners. 
  • Ensure client information and documentation is saved and maintained on the firm’s Case Management System. 
  • Ability to liaise with other departments and offices across HCB Network.
  • Assist with post duties when required to do so. 
  • Ensure the confidentiality of the client and firm’s information and documentation  at all times.
  • Maintain client hard copy files including copying, storage and retrieval of information.
  • Other duties as required to ensure the efficient running of the office. 

 


 

Office Hours:  Mon – Fri  09.00 – 17.15, but flexible hours will be considered.
Holiday: 25 days plus Bank Holidays
Bonus Holiday Scheme (12 additional days leave) 
Salary: £18,000
