Administration Assistant - Wills and Probate

We are currently recruiting for a part-time experienced Administration Assistant to be based at our Leigh or Westhoughton office

Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this role is to provide general administrative support to the Wills and Probate team. 

Main Responsibilities

Assisting lawyers with their day to day file management including:

  • Opening Files 
  • Print and scanning
  • Archiving and document storage
  • Completing assigned tasks within the case management system
  • Making and taking telephone calls from customers and clients and third parties
  • Filing and general administration work
  • Booking appointments
  • Registering Wills and other Legal Documents through various portals. 

Skills and Qualifications

You will need the following skills and experience:

  • 2+ years working in professional Services/ office environment 
  • Background is Private Client / Wills and Probate preferred but not essential
  • IT literate with experience of using Word, Excel and the internet
  • Good written, numeracy and oral communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise, be organised and efficient
  • Able to integrate within a team and able to work on your own initiative
  • Friendly and helpful approach

Location: This is an office-based role with flexibility to be based from either our Leigh or Westhoughton branch. 

Working Hours: We are currently only looking for a part time candidate with the successful candidate working 2-3 hours per day, 4 days per week.
