    Mark is involved in the full range of insolvency and restructuring work. He acts primarily for office holders but also advises corporate clients, business owners and individuals. His workload tends to be contentious and he has enjoyed considerable success in both bringing and defending claims by Insolvency Practitioners.

    Case studies and Experience:

    • Mark conducted a substantial misfeasance claim against the former directors of a PLC, resulting in a 7 figure settlement for the liquidators on the first day of trial.
    • Mark has handled volume bankruptcy work for three of the Big Four firms including a number of complex and lengthy assignments. He continues to work closely with the largest bankruptcy practices in the UK as well as advising several regional practitioners.
    • Mark has acted for IPs, companies and individuals in a wide range of antecedent transaction disputes arising out of corporate and personal insolvencies.
    • Prior to becoming an insolvency specialist, Mark represented the successful Claimants in Clark Fixing Limited –v- Dudley MBC [2001] EWCA Civ 1898, a multi-million pound damages claim involving a fire in unoccupied council-owned premises adjacent to the Claimants.
