    Approach

    Kenny qualified as a Solicitor in 2009 after completing his training contract at Widdows Mason Solicitors in which he successfully obtained sponsorship with the then Legal Services commissions but now known as the Legal Aid Agency. He is currently a Senior Associate in this firm advising and representing clients in different areas of law.

    Kenny’s contentious approach means that he advises clients on a wide range of matters and frequently representing clients in the police station, Magistrates Court, County Court, High Court and the Employment Tribunal. Known for his aggressive cross examination skills and his ability to respond quickly on his feet, it has assisted him in the success achieved in various courts.
    Kenny is a criminal defence duty solicitor and also a member of the Family Resolution and also the Criminal Litigation Advocacy Scheme.

    Focus

    Whilst historically Kenny has been representing clients in different matters, he has decided to concentrate in commercial, employment and litigation matters. He is currently the Head of the Employment Department and his intention is to continue delivering the best legal service possible. Away from the law, Kenny wishes to develop and maintain his relationships with clients ensuring that clients are not only receiving the best legal services but also in client care.

    • Assisted in advising on a commercial image rights contract for a youth professional footballer signed by a premiership football club.
    • Represented a father in public children law proceedings in relation to the care of his daughter and accused of causing non-accidental injuries resulted in the death of his other daughter.
    • Represented an employee in his constructive dismissal claim having resigned from his employer due to verbal and physical assaults. The employee was awarded damages following trial.
    • Represented clients facing serious allegations of offences in criminal proceedings such as fraud, rape, serious assaults and murder.
