    Background and Experience:

    • Worked in Banking primarily from 2010-2019, specialising in chargebacks, fraud and scam investigations, before taking up management position within overall Fraud Team.
    • 2019-2023 spent working at Legal Ombudsman building up a comprehensive understanding of what firms were doing both right and wrong whilst dealing with complaints. This gave me the best understanding as to where firms were regularly going wrong and built up a knowledge of understanding how fee earners can avoid complaints.
    • I then joined a firm in 2023 as their Risk and Compliance Officer which gave me an insight into how law firms generally operate, as well as a deeper understanding of the compliance elements listed in ‘areas of expertise section’ above
