    Focus

Laura joined the firm in September 2016 after qualifying at a reputable practice. She has experience of assisting clients with a variety of Education law matters

Laura has developed a vast knowledge of the special educational needs legal system and has supported many families throughout the process including representing families at tribunal hearings. She is approachable, motivated and determined to ensure the young person’s needs are met.

When she was a student Laura spent time in America working with children with a variety of special educational needs. From this experience she developed a passion for helping families and young people and has a strong understanding of the challenges that they can be faced with.

Families with children who have Special Educational Needs are often concerned about the best way to provide for their children when they pass away or how they can make decisions on behalf of a young person once the young person turns 18. Laura can advise on the most appropriate documentation parents and young people should have in place to ensure they are fully prepared for any situation that may arise.
