HCB takes over local firms to boost Sutton operation
Two local legal firms have been taken over by fast expanding HCB Solicitors for a major expansion of their services in the Sutton Coldfield area.
Solihull-based HCB already has an office in Sutton and has acquired Eddowes Perry Adams & Roberts, a small family firm in Erdington, and French and Co, a family practice in Boldmere.
The practices will come under one roof in the French & Co offices by January 1.
The acquisitions mean that HCB has taken over six legal firms throughout the West Midlands in the last three years, and has offices in Birmingham city centre, Redditch, Alcester, Stratford upon Avon, Sutton, Lichfield and Walsall.
Mike Gahan, chief executve, said: “These acquisitions will mean we can boost our family private client and property services in the Sutton area and move towards building a base for our growing commercial work.
