    Debbie manages and supervises the firm’s Debt Recovery Practice. Debbie is a recognised leader in the field of debt recovery with a proven track record and impressive success rate on recoveries offering clients an efficient and effective “value for money” service

    Client base:

    • Representing education sector clients pursuing student debtors at home and overseas
    • Working with insolvency practitioners in handling volume instructions for the recovery of book debts
    • Acting for energy suppliers in the recovery of unpaid electricity and gas accounts
    • Acting for administrative receivers and liquidators of an insolvent electricity supply in high value, multiple site, recovery proceedings

    • Debbie has successfully implemented and developed two debt recovery software packages, which has resulted in a flexible computerised system to facilitate  process of bulk claims and instructions on the day of receipt, and to provide a flexible reporting service at competitive rates, linked to recoveries
    • Recruitment and training Debt Recovery staff in handling both the software package to enable  the Team to process bulk instructions on the day of receipt
    • Through the software package Debbie is able to design reports to suit a clients individual requirements which fits in with their work practices
    • Maintaining regular contact with clients through the flexible reporting service and regular client care visits to ensure client satisfaction
    • Management of  ISO related issues including the regulation of recognised procedures involving both internal inspection of files and inspection by external assessors
    • Acting for the Receivers of an energy company and for the purchaser of its customer contracts in the recovery of a large debtor portfolio
    • In addition to taking a ‘hands on’ approach to collections Debbie supervises the collection team  and is responsible for staff recruitment and training concerning her specialist subject of recoveries
    • Debbie’s experience range encompasses volume debt recovery, contentious litigation, insolvency, telephone collection techniques and an extensive working knowledge of systems in support of client requirements including regular client care meetings, tailoring reports to suit the clients requirement and work practices
